Canadian Guide Outfitters Ltd. is owned and operated by Sean Lingl, a lifetime resident of Vancouver Island located off the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada.

Sean has been in the hunting and guiding business for over 20 years, starting his career with the pioneer of Vancouver Island Bear hunting, the legendary hunting guide "Wayne Wiebe", who at that time owned the guiding rights to most of Vancouver Island, BC.  When the area was split Sean joined the Jim Shockey Hunting Adventure Team and worked with Jim and crew for 15+ years until deciding to take the next step and purchase his own Outfitting business on Vancouver Island. Since then the business has expanded, adding new world class areas for multiple trophy species.

Sean believes that by keeping the number of hunters and hunting trips to a manageable level for the areas, he will consistently be able to offer large mature animals for his guests to harvest. These are the kinds of animals that fill the pages of the trophy books and include Black Bear, Roosevelt Elk, Grizzly Bear, Whitetail deer, Vancouver Island Blacktail deer, Mountain Lion and Wolf.
