Most of our clients fly to Vancouver B.C. (YVR) and at that time have a choice of either catching a short connector flight to Vancouver Island or renting a vehicle from the Vancouver Airport (YVR).
If you wish to fly, KD AIR flies to Qualicum Beach where a KD Air representative will shuttle you over to your final destination of Port Alberni where Canadian Guide Outfitters will meet you.
If you wish to rent a vehicle and drive, you can rent a vehicle from YVR , catch a very scenic two hour ride on BC Ferries to Vancouver Island, followed by an hour drive through some of the most beautiful country you can imagine, to your final destination of Port Alberni B.C. where myself or one of our guides will meet you. The driving method has been the most popular with our guests.
From Port Alberni, we will escort you to the lodge. Plan on arriving the afternoon before the hunt, which will give you plenty of time to rest up and ready to hunt the morning of Day 1.
